As Europe's largest regional airline, we employ pver 700 pilots to operate our fleet of Dash 8 Q400 and Embraer E-Jets from 13 crewed bases across the United Kingdom.

In this key senior managemetn role in both flight operations and within Flybe as a whole, you will build on our success, usign your expertise to manage our dispersed pilot workforce through a network of regional managers whilst overseeing our Flight Operations and HR policies. As well as plaing an active role in Industrial and Employee relations, we will rely on you to provide real career development for our pilots and operational managemetn staff. You will also be responsible for improving the efficiency of our office systems and ensuring effective line management of our pilot workforce.

First and foremose, you must be skilled manager, preferably from within the airline environment with extensive experience in people managemetn policies and regulation in the unique environment affecting pilots. In addition, you will possess the ability to work alone and organise a variety of complex personnel supervisory tasks within your own pilot management team. A valid APTL is required in order to fulfill flying duties around the network and undertake additional technical management tasks within Flight operations. it goes without saying that the ability to embrace change, outstanding interpersonal and team skills are of course, essential; and you must have the flexibility to travel to our different crew bases when necessary, often at short notice. Finally, you must also have the Right to Work in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands.
